Our area has so much to offer;  from its majestic mountains, cascading waterfalls, and stunning lakes, to the historic and quiet charms of northern New England. We want you to experience the "best of the North Country" and have provided some helpful information below.   But don't hesitate to ask us any questions - we're always happy to share our favorite spots or activity!

Kayaking

 

Easy access to the many stunning waters of the North Country. Check out the amazing lakes or take a cruise down the Androscoggin or Connecticut River.

ATV Trails

 

Over 1000 miles of interconnected OHRV trail system – largest in the North East. Enjoy the rush.

Fishing

 

Trophy lakes and rivers….

A fisherman’s paradise for Trout, Bass, Salmon, and more. These pristine waters will not disappoint.

Moose & Wildlife

 

Go on a moose watch or kayak to see the Bald Eagles – the wildlife is always spectacular. And don’t miss the fun at the North Country Moose Festival - the last weekend in August.

Hiking

 

Climb Monadnock Mt., Table Rock or Sanguinary for breathtaking views. Ramble along the lakeside trails or beside the wandering streams and rivers. Something for all ages and abilities.

The Rec Center

 

Enjoy the indoor olympic size pool, sand volleyball, playground, and ice rink, right in the heart of town.

Waterfalls

 

Take a picnic luch and enjoy the wonder of Beaver Brook Falls, or hike a little deeper to one of the many spectacular hidden gems throughout this amazing landscape.

Tillotson Center

 

A great local venue for the arts, with a schedule that includes live music, local theatre, and screenings. The center also houses a quaint local history museum.

The Town

 

We are located conveniently within walking distance to Colebrook's shops, eateries and gift shops – enjoy our “small town” hospitality.

Covered Bridges

 

New Hampshire & Vermont have over 150 Covered Bridges.

Check out some of the most beautiful examples in our Northeast Kingdom.

Snowmobiling

 

With easy access to over 7,000 miles of beautiful groomed trails, you will have an experience like no other!

Winter Sports

 

Embrace the winter and get outdoors! There’s lots to do: alpine and nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, ice-fishing, and great sledding hills.
